Brazil: ornamental minerals sector headcount 2017, by activity
In Brazil, the workforce in the ornamental stones sector amounted to approximately 55.6 thousand people in 2017, out of which around 42.4 thousand were employed in the beneficiation segment. Granite extraction generated more than eight thousand jobs in the country that year.
