Ipsos on predictions for social issues in 2020, only about 20 percent of Japanese believed it was likely that large-scale public unrest against government decisions would occur that year. Among all the countries surveyed, Japan showed the largest share of respondents being skeptical about the possibility of large-scale anti-government protests or riots happening in 2020.
