World: factors influencing consumers to make duty free purchases Q1 2020
As of the first quarter 2020, price advantage and price quality ratio attributed to shopping duty free were the leading reasons that consumers made duty free and travel retail purchases. Each of these reasons were chosen by 31 percent each of consumers for making purchases in the duty free channel. In that period, around 17 percent of consumers said that getting a souvenir from their trip was a reason for buying in duty free.
