U.S. Virgin Islands: internal travel and tourism consumption 2010-2019
Between the years of 2010 and 2013, the internal travel and tourism consumption in the U.S. Virgin Islands was increasing, with the industry hitting its peak of the decade in 2013 at 3.24 billion U.S. dollars. However, the U.S. territory in the Caribbean islands experienced turbulence with its annual internal tourism consumption revenues in the years that followed. Nonetheless, the industry's 2019 revenue of 2.59 billion U.S. dollars is up from the 2.53 billion reported in the U.S. Virgin Islands a year prior.
