In 2018, around 50 percent of women who had early stage (I and II) breast cancer received a combination of breast-conserving surgery (BCS) and radiation therapy (RT). This statistic shows the distribution of treatment types for female breast cancer in the U.S. in 2018, by stage of cancer.

RT = radiation therapy.
