U.S. public perception of immigration as a good or bad thing 2005-2023

In 2023, 68 percent of survey respondents stated they think immigration is a good thing for the United States, which is a decrease from the previous year when 70 percent considered immigration a good thing. A further 33 percent of respondents said that they felt immigration was a bad thing for the country.
