Foreign investors' incomes from direct investments in Poland 2014-2018
In 2018, foreign investors paid a record amount of dividends of 86.5 billion zloty, an increase of 6.5 percent on the previous year. These profits may be paid out to foreign investors in the form of dividends and interest or re-invested in Poland. Out of the total amount of earnings, 45 percent were paid out in the form of dividends, 44 percent of profits were re-invested, and 11 percent were interest on loans and credits granted. In particular, the value of dividends paid increased. It amounted to 39 billion zloty, i.e., 20 percent more than in 2017.
